As Seen On The Kevin J Johnston Show.... Introducing EXTRA DEAD LEHHH NATIVE APPAREL!!!

In Native culture laughter is a medicine we use a lot of the time and we like to tease each other all the time as well. A common slang for us is "Holehh That's Deadly", which means something is really good. So this is why we are Extra Dead Lehhh, meaning we're great. We believe that laugher is the best medicine and we also believe in spreading Native humor through art. As well, we believe in giving back to our community. Therefore a portion of each on our sales will go towards helping to strengthen Indigenous communities across Canada. Native people have a great sense of humor, we like to tease people alot of the time and we crack jokes most of the time. So therefore most of us have pretty thick skin and we are not too easily offended. We especially are not easily offended by a logo with depicts an Indian or a person's slogan. This is especially true when such logos and slogans are created by Natives, such as the Extra Dead Lehhh and Wasted Native logo's & slogans. Don't believe me, look at the stores on reservations, they are full of Native Culture humor logos and slogans. Now we don't see anyone getting bent out of shape over those business on the Rez and we definitely don't see anyone threatening those businesses or insulting them. Even the logo for the Chicago Black Hawks was created by a Native and that person was paid for their art work. Most other Native people I know, simply are not offended by Native logo's, especially with sports teams. Most Natives are actually proud of the fact a symbol of Native Culture is being used to intimidate the other team or in the case of Wasted Native and Extra Dead Lehhh Native Apparel, it is being used to open up a dialogue to speak about real issues. Now I know some of you are going to try and point out "how native" I may be or how native the creator of Wasted Native Coffee may be. I'll make it easy for you, I am a Status Métis Native from the Thunder Bay Woodland Tribe and the creator of Wasted Native Coffee is also a Métis Native. I choose to call myself Native & Indian, because the Government term Aboriginal means "not normal" and the term Indigenous applies to anyone from a certain area, no different than when we claim a certain plant is indigenous to a certain part of the world. Being Métis I've already heard it all about, "if you're not 6 Nations than you're not a real Native" and blahhh blahhh blahhh....See some people claim Native logos to be racist on one hand and then on the other hand they tell their own people they aren't Native enough to belong. That however is another article all together. I have had the great pleasure of working with some amazing Alberta Cree Real Elders when I spent time in Grande Cache, Wetaskiwin and Maskwacis (Hobbema), Alberta. As well I was taught so many beautiful teachings of the Ojibwe and Mohawk cultures from Great Real Elders here in Ontario. None of these Real Elder's ever dismissed me as not being a "real Native" and you know why? It's because, I was serious about learning the culture and I respected the teachings. I didn't dismiss or judge anyone, because they are different than me in anyway, it's exactly what our teachings tell us, to not judge others. That's called Real Humility, which is one of the Seven Grandfather Teachings. Learning from these Elder's, I created a Native Healing Burn Journal (seen in picture's below). I suggest if you're struggling in life right now, to look at the images below and read the teachings in them. Then try to find a way of applying those teachings in your everyday life. All of these teachings are from Real Elder's, who only care about healing, not reciprocating hurt. I created and published this book on my own, to help not just Native People, but all people to be able to use these teachings for healing their spirits. You see all of these Elder's are real Elder's and there are fake Elder's out there with their own personal agendas. All of these real Elder's I've worked with and continue to work with aren't offended by such things as a Native Logo or Slogan, because they properly follow the 7 Grandfather Teachings. These Elder's certainly do not make threatening or insulting remarks to people, because they are hurt by something a person has said or done. These Elder's walk a proper walk on the Red Road and when you are on the Red Road, you don't lash out at people, but instead to ask your Ansestors and the Creator for guidance. You also send love to the people who hurt you and ask for them to be able to heal. You do this so that those people to, may be able to walk on this Red Road. So any of you that are offended and hurling insults or profanity, you've wandered off the Red Road. That's ok though, I don't judge you for this, because we all wander off of the proper path in life from time to time. So I ask you to seek out a Real Elder and follow the 7 Grandfather Teachings. If you're struggling, feel free to contact me, I know some great Real Elder's you could speak to and as well I could share more information with you. I'm not an expert by any means on our Native Culture. However, I know enough to say that hurling insults and profanity, because a cancel culture tells you that something should be offensive, that's not following our Traditional Native Teachings. It really bothers me when someone trys to tell me that I "should be offended" by something, simply because I'm Native. What does offend me though, is when people say such things and then don't practice their Traditional Teachings, passed onto them from Real Elder's. So folks feel free to buy some of the Wasted Native Coffee and drink it from a Extra Dead Lehhh Native Coffee Mug. The coffee can be purchased on this site here and my link is below for my Extra Dead Lehhh Native Apparel. If you're upset by what I've said here, that is ok, the Creator made us to all think differently and to be unique. If you choose to send insults my way, I will only send you love and when I smudge I'll ask for healing to find you. Again if anyone is struggling in anyway, please do not hesitate to contact me and we can talk. Miigwetch (thank you) and keep on laughing.
